Awesome bunch of guys. Gerry McGee, guitarist (Ventures); Buddy White, drummer (Gene Vincent); Bill Mack, bassist (Gene Vincent). I chatted with Gerry a few times and he was a great man. That explains it — it was those guys who were posting about him this morning. My favorite Brighton Rock track, One More Try brings back amazing memories of high school, what a time it was. Pop rock, not quite metal, but slick. Brighton Rock to never take the stage again now that singer Gerry McGhee has passed away. I had so much respect for him because of that. I never had the chance to meet him personally, but I’ve heard only good things.

I got into Brighton Rock recently. Gerry has had a very rewarding career with his music.

This one is hitting me very hard.

Having heard about this great loss, the family of this individual is passing through … McGee had a second career as a character actor. When I was 15, I saw a band on TV called Brighton Rock. I know it’s terrible.
