Speed leads Blaggard's men to the treasure but manages to alert his family and Trixie. Agents from Forthebird Motors put a bomb on the finish line to destroy the car, but Spritle overhears them and warns Speed. Speed is crippled with a fear of driving after one round in the GRX. Speed chases Cumulus to his undersea base where he learns that Cumulus plans to destroy all the military bases in the world. Speed rescues Twinkle. Guarded by Blaggard's men, Speed heads to Misty Valley using his Mach 5 where the $1,000,000,000 is located at. Speed takes part in a mountain race, considered with its gorges and landslides to be the most dangerous race ever.
