Really enjoyed the first book and both versions of the film, although I'd hoped to keep some of the macabre mystery with the girl never being found. It's truly a great book. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is mostly boring.

Stieg Larsson's groundbreaking trilogy is continued in The Girl in the Spider's Web, The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye and The Girl Who Lived Twice by David Lagercrantz. outlining of principal characters makes one wonder about swedish society. I will confess that I have listened to it rather than read it (which actually made it harder as the names all sound very similar and I didn't get a family tree which is apprently in the book) but it is truely an inspired and very clever book. If you, like me are a Patrica Cornwall and/or James Patterson fan who has in recent years found yourself wondering "Didn't I read this already?"
